About

I am a Versatile Design Graduate and Freelancer. During my Bachelor’s degree I had the chance to work with a wide range of media, exploring digital techniques as well as endless workshops, getting my hands dirty. I worked on end-to-end product development and on Collections for the interior / fashion / stationery industry, where the end user and sustainability had been at the heart of every design decision and where I first came across the concept of UX design.

Since during my studies I came to understand the importance of UX and I recently enrolled in the Google UX Design Certificate course. I also completed two courses in responsive Web Design, working in HTML5, CSS3 and jQuery, and Figma. I chose this path because it combines my design and problem solving skills, aspects that I am most passionate about. Following up on my problem solving skills, I also did a beginner’s course in Ruby.

In all honesty I didn’t have a clue what I wanted to do at 18, or better, I wanted to do too many things. The choice to travel and work around different areas and countries helped me arrive to this point with a diversified luggage of experience and a clear mind to where I want to go next. This awareness contributed substantially to the enthusiasm I approached my undergraduate studies and the path I am now taking pursuing my design career.

Even though this website’s purpose was part of my Uni’s evaluation I hope  it can be inspirational for somebody, in whatever way. For this, I will be updating the blogs and portfolio’s section with my journey after graduation and soon a professional to be. With all the creative times it will bring, together with the less happy ones. After all, life is just like that, a salad of colorful elements of different taste!
